resolution

i hate making new resolutions every new year. why wait for specific time to do changes?
but, this time around, for this new year, i will try to embrace the true meaning of these overrated phrases :

what you give, you get back.
what goes around, comes around.

meaning, what i give to you, i want the same from you.
i.e. if i bought your child a present, please do the same for my child OR if i treat you a lunch, please treat me lunch next time. lol.

Nah. I want to be backstabbing-free so no one will talk behind my back. I try not to sweat over small stuff. I will ask people around me not to backstab anyone because backstabbing involves chain reaction.

That includes YOU.

enough

Wasn’t in my best mood today.

I had enough of :

The voice RTM’s international news anchor. He was there since.. what? 80s??
And another TV guy from TV3’s mystical series.

Japanese Soba. Cakes.

Bragger. Liar. Who is actually an idiot.
I dedicate this to ONE SPECIFIC MAN OUT THERE.

Malay sitcoms.
Come on, grow up! Spend extra! Get really creative people to advice on which joke is funny and which is not. And please tell that group of people - who recently had one of the group members arrested for drugging – that they are not funny at all.

Copy cats.
What’s with the reality shows??
Cosby had his talk of the town kids’ show and now everybody wants to interview kids??

The world needs more creative and humble people to make it more livable.
Braggers should be jailed.
Lucky I can switch off the TV when I heard those irritating voices.

gastronomy 101

Last night I ate Japanese Soba for dinner. Brilliant combination of texture. (last time I talked about I had enough of it... mm...)

Last week I bought the newly-introduced ice blended thing from a posh coffee shop nearby my office. Nope, I can't tell you which chain or else you will know it is Starbucks. It costs me a fortune. I didn't even know what it's name. The barista started with the standard greeting and continue with a typical new product introduction... "We have this new...".

"YES, I would like to try that", I don't know where it comes from. It just came out. I usually don't spend so much on brand. I can get ice blended coffee anywhere, but why on earth did I spent my money there, getting the same stuff which cost me three times more.

friendshit

I went through a very rough moment with "supposed-to-be-my-friends" during high school and I swear not to have any close female friend since. I've tried but it didn't work, maybe this swearing stuff is really working... But after that, I have one, well, at least I think I had one. He is from Malacca. He always be at the right place, at the right time and says the right words. But nowadays, no more.

I don't believe in being too close with a bunch of people but in the same time, trashing each other over small stuff behind them. It happened around me and I am trying hard to understand why they choose to be with that circle of friends at the first place? No choice? - TETT! Lame excuse. Try again.

Please be honest with everybody.

humour

I have a very high joke-tolerance. (Spells, I don't laugh over stupid jokes-NEVER-mark my word). I am easily disturbed by "supposed-to-be-funny-but-NOT" joke. I don't get it. Why people even laugh?

I love humour. I have a very good sense of humour. I got it from my parent. That's why they dont have any nowadays.

gastronomy

There should be no flavour for nata de coco except for lychee flavour. The rest are too over-whelming.

I don’t eat most of the green vege. I already stereotyped them as grass since I was in Standard Three.

Super Ring is my family’s must-have snack during our long journey. We enjoy the yellow-coloured teeth afterward.

I really love the combination of the simple es soda gembira and pecel lele.. Javanese are very excellent when it comes to flavour.

I love food from all over the world – Japanese, Chinese, Middle East, Italian, etc. You name it. I am very flexible when it comes to gastronomy as long as it is halal.

Typing this makes me hungry. Am definitely will get sushi on my way home.

humble

I was born humble. I am no bragger or boaster. I have friends from all walks of life. And I don’t like being bossy although I owned a company and I have many staff under my supervision. I’ve met bossy individuals and those who really like to live in luxury. *booo for them. What these attention-seekers really need is a piece of humble pie. It was like showing starving people a plate full of fine food but they can’t have any. I truly don’t understand why certain people behave that way. I know there is a reason for that, but why such reason is created? Why are we so magnanimous towards them?

bundle

I am surrounded with friends who prefer to shop at posh complexes/boutiques. They wear branded clothing, never missed out any sale and they love to hang out there during weekends. I have nothing against them. They have the money, then, by all means, please spend it and contribute to our country’s economic growth. I do that occasionally. I have a RM600-worth handbag (yeah, cheap). I don’t feel guilty.

I like spending time looking at each cloth hangs in bundle stall/shop. They have a lot of fashionable wear for ladies. Last week I bought 3pcs of tops, 3 pants and a denim skirt and it only costs me RM20. Yes, RM20. And the owner gave me a top and a pair of pant, free of charge. Whereas, the same pattern for the top in a posh complex will cost around RM59.90 and above. Notice the .90 at the back? They really like to use that…

There is nothing wrong about buying bundle clothing. It didn’t affect your ‘class’ (mmm… are you sure you have any?). People just have to know the story and sources of these clothes. Ask around. Ask the owner. Some of them did not sell only used clothes. They sell factory over production or cancelled order. That’s why they manage to sell it at a very low price. Not all bundle clothing is a used / second hand cloth (if that worries you at night). But, I personally think that there is nothing wrong buying used clothes. I believe in recycle since I was born.

It was just a piece of cloth… to properly cover your aurah. It didn’t make you less pretty wearing cheap clothing.

make up

Well, just because you did not wear any, don’t complaint too much on what other people is doing. I bought those with my own money. but, I can lend you my eye shadow if you want :o)

blog 101

I dont believe in blog. Just because I am not interested to read one. People would post their lengthy thoughts and opinions on any issues or just to share their 'on-my-God-I-have-to-tell-the-whole-world-this' experience. I dont care what they put in their blog and I wish for the same for my toilful.

My friend started one and I made myslef obligated to visit it everyday just to increase his hit *he made me do that* and brighthens his chance to get advertisements in his blog. I think he never heard about AdSense before. So, let me keep it for myself :o)

Am going to publish my autobiography and you can take a peek on its content in my toilful.
